Job Opportunity: Child Enhancement Worker
Meadow Lake Tribal Council (MLTC) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Child and Family Services Department as a Child Enhancement Worker. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a strong commitment to supporting the well-being of children and families in our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct services in family support and protection to children and their families
- Work collaboratively with the MLTC CFS Team to develop and implement prevention, child protection, and family support service initiatives
- Apply a holistic approach to individual, family, and community healing/development, honoring and being knowledgeable about the inner-connectedness of emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical aspects
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 with a combination of relevant training and work experience may be considered
- One (1) to two (2) years of experience working with children, families, and communities
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in Native Science or other relevant discipline
- Three (3) to four (4) years of experience working with children, families, and communities
- Experience in child protection is considered an asset
