Child and Family Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child and Family Support Specialist to join our team at the Government of Saskatchewan. As a key member of our team, you will provide critical support to children and their caregivers, helping them navigate challenging situations and build resilience.
Key Responsibilities- Provide emotional support and guidance to children and their caregivers, helping them develop coping strategies and build strong relationships.
- Collaborate with community partners and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support services are available to those in need.
- Develop and implement individualized support plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each child and family.
- Conduct home visits and provide in-home support, helping families build stability and security.
- Post-secondary education in a related field, such as social work or child and family studies.
- Experience working with children and families in a support capacity, preferably in a government or non-profit setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and partnership.
- A competitive salary range of $28.962-$36.299 hourly, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
