Child Protection Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Protection Worker to join our team at the Government of Saskatchewan.
Job Summary:
The Child Protection Worker will be responsible for providing support and services to vulnerable children and families in the North West region of Saskatchewan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct home visits and assessments to identify the needs of children and families
- Develop and implement individualized plans to support children and families
- Provide counseling and support services to children and families
- Collaborate with community agencies and organizations to provide comprehensive services
- Document and report on case activities and outcomes
Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of child welfare principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
This is a permanent full-time position, working 37.33 hours per week, averaged over 4 weeks.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $39.92 per hour, with a salary supplement included in the hourly salary range.
