Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logging Operations Supervisor to join our team at Integrated Operations Group Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our logging crew, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine crew sizes and equipment requirements to optimize logging operations
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve work methods and productivity
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers, providing technical advice and guidance as needed
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all tasks are completed on time
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure that all crew members have the necessary skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in logging operations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's licence and ability to operate heavy equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
