Supervisor of Logging Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor of Logging Operations to join our team at Integrated Operations Group Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of logging operations.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Planning: Determine crew sizes, equipment requirements, and logging operation methods to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Technical Guidance: Provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules and ensure that all activities are coordinated and scheduled effectively.
- Training and Development: Train or arrange for training of workers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Supervision and Coordination: Supervise, co-ordinate, and schedule activities of workers to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Equipment Operation: Operate heavy equipment as required.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 5 years or more of experience in logging operations or a related field.
- Language: English.
- Transportation: Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
