About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logging Operations Supervisor to join our team at Integrated Operations Group Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine Crew Sizes and Equipment Requirements

Develop and implement effective crew size and equipment requirements to ensure optimal logging operations.

Develop Logging Operation Methods

Design and implement efficient logging operation methods to maximize productivity and product quality.

Provide Technical Advice and Guidance

Offer technical expertise and guidance to resolve work problems and improve work methods.

Establish Work Schedules and Coordinate Activities

Develop and implement work schedules and coordinate activities to ensure seamless operations.

Prepare and Submit Reports

Compile and submit reports to management on logging operations, productivity, and product quality.

Train and Supervise Workers

Provide training and supervision to workers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

Operate Heavy Equipment

Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to support logging operations.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

College/CEGEP education and 5 years or more of experience in logging operations, or equivalent experience.

Work Setting

Staff accommodation available.

Transportation and Travel

Valid driver's license and vehicle supplied by employer.

Personal Suitability

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
