Job Summary
Brightshores is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Assistant to join our team. As a Patient Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with routine activities of patient care under the guidance of an RN and RPN.
- Support patients in achieving their physical, social, and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance patient care skills.
- Adhere to Brightshores' 'CARE' Behaviours and 'LEAD' Competencies.
Requirements
- Certificate of Completion of the Personal Support Worker Program or equivalent experience and education.
- Current CPR certification.
- Recent experience in a healthcare facility.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Infection Control Practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
