Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at Canada Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, taping joints, and applying successive coats of compound to ensure a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to meet project specifications
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to install drywall sheets and complete tasks
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms as needed
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drywall installation
  • Ability to work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to perform tasks accurately
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding role that requires working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to dust, noise, and heights. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
