Job Title: Drywall Installer

At Canada Inc, we are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team. As a Drywall Installer, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, taping joints, and applying successive coats of compound to create smooth surfaces.

Work Environment

Our Drywall Installers work in a variety of settings, including commercial, industrial, and residential locations. You will be required to work at heights, in dusty and noisy environments, and may be exposed to hazardous materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to create smooth surfaces
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Apply successive coats of compound to create a smooth finish
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drywall installation
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Ability to work at heights, in dusty and noisy environments
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
