Job Description:

  • Provide day-to-day IT system, network, and infrastructure support for a diverse client base in the Maritimes.
  • Work directly with clients to gather and document requirements relating to their internal systems, networks, and applications, and troubleshoot and resolve their issues.
  • Respond to service requests within designated response times and maintain records in our ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve client issues and requests.
  • Support internal and external sales efforts as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant post-secondary education coupled with 3-4 years of related experience.
  • Experience diagnosing and resolving basic technical issues.
  • Experience using and managing remote monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with timely execution.
  • Knowledge of SMB IT Network Infrastructure, domain admin, security requirements, and end-user equipment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 products and services.
  • Knowledge of MS Server and Desktop OS, and VMWare environments.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills to correspond with clients, diagnose issues, resolve problems, and collaborate with colleagues.

Additional Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license without restrictions and reliable transportation for traveling to various client sites within Halifax and surrounding areas.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year
