About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Consultant II to join our team at the Department of Health and Social Services. As an HR Consultant II, you will provide high-quality HR services and resolution-focused advice to clients, particularly in the areas of recruitment, labour relations, and accommodation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and coaching to managers and employees in all areas of HR management
  • Solve complex issues and offer advice and options to clients
  • Work in an organization with standardized processes, including activities in recruitment & staffing, performance management, organizational development, and employee wellness and accommodation

In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your full range of human resource management knowledge and skills, while prioritizing HR-related requests and issues for your client group and chairing staffing activities.

Requirements
  • Recent experience providing leadership and coaching to managers and employees in all areas of HR management
  • Experience problem-solving difficult issues and providing advice and options to clients
  • Recent experience working in an organization with standardized processes, including activities in recruitment & staffing, performance management, organizational development, and employee wellness and accommodation
  • Post-secondary education in business administration, organizational development, human resources, leadership and employee management, communications/marketing, or other related fields
What We Offer
