Job Summary and Requirements

The Government of Yukon is comprised of fourteen departments and six corporations, each delivering programs and services to Yukoners. As an HR Consultant II, you will collaborate with clients and provide a high standard of HR services and resolution-focused advice, particularly in the areas of recruitment, labour relations, and accommodation.

The Opportunity

The Human Resources branch at Health and Social Services is looking for an HRC II to join our team. We work in partnership with department managers and employees to achieve high employee engagement, positive employee/management relations, strategic recruitment, and high retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and coaching to managers and employees in all areas of HR management
  • Experience problem solving difficult issues, and providing advice and options to clients
  • Recent experience working in an organization with standardized processes (such as legislation, policies, procedures, or frameworks) including activities in recruitment & staffing, performance management, organizational development and creating job descriptions, and employee wellness and accommodation

Requirements

  • Recent experience providing leadership and coaching to managers and employees in all areas of HR management
