Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at QUIZNOS SUB. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of a team of 3-4 staff members who prepare and portion food.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Food Quality and Safety
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service
- Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef and ensure that food is delivered to the correct areas of the restaurant.
- Administrative Tasks
- Prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
- Education and Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
- Work Environment
- Fast-paced environment with frequent standing for extended periods.
- Personal Qualities
- Excellent oral communication skills.
- Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations.
Public transportation is available, and the work environment is fast-paced with frequent standing for extended periods.
