We are currently recruiting for an Advanced Practice Health Care Professional to manage the medical needs of patients within the Medicine program at Sturgeon Community Hospital.

This role promotes excellence in clinical practice, utilizing a comprehensive knowledge base and excellent ability to apply it to the clinical setting. As an Advanced Practice Health Care Professional, you will provide a full range of comprehensive health services to individuals across their lifespan. You will be responsible for integrating clinical skills associated with nursing and medicine to assess, diagnose, order, and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe treatment, and perform procedures to meet the health needs of patients.

You will utilize advanced practice nursing competencies related to Clinical Practice, Leadership and Optimizing Health Systems, Education, and Research to increase care quality, promote appropriate use of health services, and inform and influence healthcare systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of an approved Advanced Practice Health Care Professional program and a minimum of master's degree.
  • Registration with CRNA on the Advanced Practice Health Care Registrar including Provisional Graduate Advanced Practice Health Care licensure.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
