**About Our Team**

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Health Care Aide to join our team at Alberta Health Services. As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will provide exceptional patient care services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.

Job Summary:

The Health Care Aide provides vital support to patients with their activities of daily living, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall wellbeing. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About You:

  • You must possess a strong educational background, with a minimum of Grade 12 education or equivalent.
  • You should be fluent in English, with excellent reading, writing, and speaking skills.
  • You must have current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • You should have recent acute adult experience, preferably with a minimum of two years.
  • You may also possess computer skills, which is a desirable asset for this role.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be around $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.

Requirements:

  • A valid Health Care Aide Certificate within 18 months of hire.
  • Active directory status on the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory.
  • Nursing students who meet specific requirements may also be considered.
