Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Coordinator to join our team at Wildstone Group. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of mechanical projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Setup: Develop and implement project master filing systems, assist with the setup of project billings and cost accounting systems, and create and maintain project directories.
  • Contract Management: Support the contract management process through tendering and awarding of work or supply materials, review and process invoices and progress claims, and review documents and inquiries.
  • Project Administration: Assist with mechanical material take-offs, procurement of materials and equipment, RFI process, general administrative and record-keeping functions, tracking of project milestones and financial deadlines, and review and distribution of drawings.
  • Project Closeout: Prepare warranty packages and requirements, collect warranty and O&M manuals, create turnover documents, assist in demobilizing the site, and archive documentation.
  • Core Values: Interact effectively with other parts of the company, establish a culture of accountability in managing projects, and win trust within the company community.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, confident interacting with key contacts in verbal, written, and electronic form.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the construction industry with knowledge of project setup, subcontract management, change orders, RFIs, lien holdback, and closeout.
  • Previous mechanical experience is an asset.
  • Estimating experience would be an asset.
  • Plumbing/Pipefitting Journeyperson Certificate, EIT designation in mechanical engineering or equivalent education and experience, or trade designation and experience.
  • Experience with Procore, Salus, Laborchart would be an asset.
  • Computer literacy is a requirement.
