Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Coordinator to join our team at Wildstone Group. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of mechanical projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Start Up: Establish a comprehensive project filing system, assist with project billing and cost accounting setup, and create and maintain project directories.
  • Contract Management: Support the tendering and awarding of work or supply materials, review and process invoices and progress claims, and assist with document review and inquiries.
  • Project Execution: Assist with mechanical material take-offs, procurement of materials and equipment, RFI process, administrative tasks, and tracking of project milestones and financial deadlines.
  • Project Close Out: Prepare warranty packages, collect warranty and O&M manuals, create turnover documents, assist with site demobilization, and archive project documentation.
  • Core Values: Foster a culture of accountability, interact effectively with company stakeholders, and establish trust within the organization.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with key contacts in verbal, written, and electronic formats.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the construction industry, with knowledge of project setup, subcontract management, change orders, RFIs, lien holdback, and closeout.
  • Previous mechanical experience is an asset, as is estimating experience.
  • Plumbing/Pipefitting Journeyperson Certificate, EIT designation in mechanical engineering, or equivalent education and experience is required.
  • Experience with Procore, Salus, Laborchart is an asset.
  • Computer literacy is a must.
