About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Indirect Sourcing Analyst to join our team at The North West Company. As an Indirect Sourcing Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing analytical and project management support to our sourcing leadership and assisting with category management activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vendor Management and Compliance: Implement vendor management and compliance programs, including SLAs (Service Level Agreements), and pricing for products and services.
  • Category Management and Sourcing Analytics: Execute category management and sourcing analytics, including analyzing market trends, assessing supplier performance, and evaluating the impact of external factors on the procurement of products.
  • Project Support and Communication: Provide project support and communication to category leaders, including project tracking, meeting minutes, and other administrative tasks.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Develop and confidently present analysis – both quantitative and qualitative – to Procurement and Business leadership to obtain approval to award business.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required (major related to Management, Business, Economics, Supply-Chain, Finance, Accounting).
  • Experience: 1+ years of professional experience related to Sourcing & Category Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Analytics, or Management Consulting.
  • Skills: Strong analytical ability, strategic thinker, learn and process new information quickly; ability to quickly capture, analyze, and summarize large data sets; strong organization and project management skills; demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks without direct supervision, while paying strong attention to detail and follow-up.
  • Travel: Must be willing and able to travel up to 15% of time for supplier presentations, site visits, and key department meetings at Headquarters.
