Job Summary

The Manitoba Government is seeking a highly skilled Data Warehouse Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Business Intelligence Unit, you will play a critical role in delivering valuable insights and data-driven solutions to inform strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to design and implement a data warehouse that aggregates data from various sources to support fast and efficient data analysis and reporting.
  • Work with Manitoba's central Digital and Technology Solutions (DTS) group and Justice IT to determine the best approach for data to be staged to the Business Intelligence Unit.
  • Design and implement the technology and infrastructure necessary for data acquisition, storage, processing, and integration.
  • Support the implementation of the Courts Modernization Project and ongoing reporting requirements within the Department of Justice.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
  • Extensive experience in data warehouse development, management, and administration.
  • Experience in data warehouse concepts, methodologies, and architecture.
  • Extensive experience with data warehousing tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong project management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the Justice system and Justice operations.
  • Knowledge of existing Justice-related systems and data domain.
