Job Title: Payroll Manager

Robert Half is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Manager to join our team. As a Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the processing of payroll changes, resolving issues, and ensuring accuracy of records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee processing of payroll changes, including new hires, terminations, and raises
  • Resolve payroll-related issues and answer questions
  • Help create systems for processing payroll account transactions, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes, and third-party payments
  • Supervise and coach payroll coordinators
  • Coordinate timekeeping and payroll systems
  • Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and accounting teams
  • Create reports and ensure accuracy of records
Requirements:
  • PCP or CPM is an asset
  • Excellent understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes (Canada and USA)
  • 2+ years of proven leadership experience as a payroll manager or similar role is an asset
  • Able to work with a vast variety of payroll applications
  • 4+ years of total payroll experience
