Payroll Supervisor

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Manager to oversee the processing of payroll changes, resolve issues, and create systems that process payroll account transactions. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a proven track record of success, and a strong understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the processing of payroll changes, including new hires, terminations, and raises.
- Resolve payroll-related issues and answer questions from employees and management.
- Create systems that process payroll account transactions, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes, and third-party payments.
- Supervise and coach payroll coordinators to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.
- Coordinate timekeeping and payroll systems to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits to minimize risk and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with Human Resources and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.
- Create reports and ensure accuracy of records to support business decisions.
Requirements:
- PCP or CPM certification is an asset.
- Excellent understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes, including Canada and USA.
- 2+ years of proven leadership experience as a payroll manager or similar role is an asset.
- Able to work with a variety of payroll applications.
- 4+ years of total payroll experience.
