We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our faculty as an Assistant Professor of English and Indigenous Literatures. This is a tenure-track position that offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our department.
About the PositionThe successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a variety of undergraduate courses in English and Indigenous Literatures, including introductory and senior-level courses. They will also be expected to maintain an active research agenda and contribute to the department's service and outreach efforts.
Qualifications- PhD in English with a focus on Indigenous literatures and creative writing
- Established teaching record and research experience
- Interest in Indigenous protocols and working with Elders and communities
- Ability to speak a First Nations language is an asset
