Lead Research Scientist in Acute Care and Emergency Medicine

We are seeking an internationally recognized scientist to lead a world-class research program related to acute care, emergency, or critical care medicine at the University of Toronto.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain a strong research program that aligns with the strategic priorities of Unity Health Toronto.
- Conduct high-impact research in acute care, emergency, or critical care medicine.
- Serve as a role model for junior researchers and provide mentorship opportunities.
The successful candidate must hold a full-time academic appointment at the rank of Associate or Full Professor and an Active Employee Scientist appointment at Unity Health Toronto. A five-year, renewable once, joint University of Toronto and St. Michael's Hospital endowed chair is available.
Salary and BenefitsThe endowed chair will provide approximately $120,000 annually to offset the salary support of the incumbent. Additional funds may be used to support the incumbent's academic activities and interests, including research operations and education events.
