**Position Overview:**

We are seeking a compassionate Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team in the Acute Medicine Unit at Humber River Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and effective care to patients, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
  • Work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information, including medical history, medications, and treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

**Requirements:**

  • Diploma in Registered Practical Nursing from a recognized institution.
  • Current RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum one year experience in acute medicine or surgical care preferred.

**Salary and Benefits:**

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary ranging from $36,929 to $37,466 per hour, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
