About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly qualified academic emergency medicine physician to join our team at the University of Toronto. As a Clinician Teacher, Clinician Educator, Clinician in Quality & Innovation, Clinician Scientist or Clinician Investigator, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the education and research of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exemplary patient-centered care in one of three fully-affiliated Toronto Academic Health Sciences Network hospitals: Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Unity Health Toronto or University Health Network.
- Participate in teaching programs for undergraduate and postgraduate students as appropriate.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives within the department.
- Pursue research interests in education, quality improvement, or other areas relevant to emergency medicine.
Requirements:
- MD degree from a recognized institution.
- Eligibility for certification in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Emergency Medicine.
- Licensure in Ontario.
Compensation:
The estimated annual salary for this position is $250,000 - $350,000 based on experience and qualifications.
