Key Account Lead

About the Role
Cascades is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Key Account Lead to join our team in Western Canada. As a Key Account Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive growth and revenue in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop value propositions for customers and offer integrated solutions based on business opportunities, customer needs, and market context to achieve sales targets.
- Responsible for maximizing sales and revenue growth in Western Canada through account planning and development.
- Act as an internal coordinator for the liaison between customers and the organization.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key contacts/decision-makers within the customer's organization and strengthen a long-term partnership.
- Work closely with key account managers and the marketing function to develop an in-depth understanding of the sectors (growth, trends, customers, competitive positioning) and provide information.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in a similar position and a thorough understanding of the dynamics of the market in which Cascades operates.
- Strong communication, negotiation, customer contact, and judgment skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams to work collaboratively and effectively in a matrix environment, and to approach an account from all angles.
- Ability to think strategically and correlate data with customer and Cascades context.
- Can easily build relationships at all levels of the organization (Cascades and customers) and ability to work with the Office suite.
