About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist with SE Health, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, applying your skills and expertise to help them achieve their goals. You will conduct assessments, formulate goals and recommendations, and develop client-centered treatment programs. Your ability to build rapport and trust with clients, as well as your knowledge of community resources, will be essential to your success in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs and goals
  • Develop and implement client-centered treatment plans that address physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual needs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals

Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you must possess:

  • A graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current membership in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
  • Recent experience in managing patients in acute/rehab or community-based rehabilitation programs
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

In addition, you should be flexible, creative, and self-directed, with the ability to work effectively with rehab assistants and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
