Monarch House Ltd is a leading provider of occupational therapy services in Canada. We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team as part of our community development program.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist with a strong background in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other special needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that enable individuals to participate in daily activities to their fullest potential.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess client needs and priorities in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team
  • Travel to schools and community locations to provide therapy services
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on assessment results
  • Consult with Behaviour Analysts to support Applied Behaviour Analysis Programs
  • Work collaboratively with families, community professionals, and other healthcare teams
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy (OT)
  • At least 2 years' experience working with children with ASD
  • Experience with assessment tools and current research in OT
  • Member of the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO) or eligible
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently
