Occupational Therapist for Children's Rehabilitation

Monarch House Ltd seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team, working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other needs. This role involves developing programs that enable individuals to participate fully in daily life activities.
Competitive Salary:
$42-$52 per hour
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing client needs and family priorities as part of an interdisciplinary team. They will travel to schools, complete assessments using standardized tools, develop treatment plans, and consult with Behaviour Analysts. The candidate must work collaboratively with the family and other community professionals, maintaining knowledge in current evidence-based practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 2 years' experience working with children with ASD
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy (OT)
- Experience with assessment tools and knowledge of current research and literature in OT
- Member of college (COTO) or COTO eligible
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to take initiative
- Flexibility in scheduling clients
