About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Facilities Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Facilities Engineering group, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and troubleshooting industrial facility systems, process equipment, machinery, and engine test systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement various facilities initiatives, including industrial ventilation, dust collection, cooling towers, heat exchangers, pumping and piping systems, chemical processes, wastewater management, HVAC, area layouts, building envelope, grounds, and energy-savings improvements.
  • Coordinate resources and drive timelines for construction and site implementation projects, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams, promoting best practices and industry standards.
  • Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and implement Environmental Social Governance (ESG) projects, focusing on energy efficiency and environmental impact improvements.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, driving energy and operational savings initiatives across our global operations.
  • Assist in establishing and overseeing relationships with trades and contractors, ensuring timely completion of project and maintenance work.
  • Execute small and large-scale projects as the Project Manager, working individually or part of a larger team, with a wide range of concurrent tasks and projects.
  • Troubleshoot equipment, facility, and engine test systems to provide technical support and coordination for our Maintenance Team.
  • Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance strategies for facility systems and industrial equipment, reducing downtime and increasing overall efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with internal customers, providing written and verbal feedback on facilities engineering support for new and existing systems.
  • Support remote or call-in assistance for critical after-hours facility and maintenance issues, ensuring business continuity and minimizing disruptions.

 

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 1-5 years' experience in a related industry, preferably in an industrial or construction environment.
  • Experience owning multiple projects and applying Project Management principles, ensuring successful outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, decision-making, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations, fire safety, health and safety, building codes, plumbing, electrical codes, and methods, practices, and techniques of maintaining buildings and facilities.
  • A university degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • The ability to travel up to 30% of the time based on project requirements, with a willingness to collaborate remotely and participate in on-site visits.
  • Excellent benefits, learning, and training opportunities, along with a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
