As a Cloud Native Engineer - Application Orchestration, you'll join our Engineering team to strengthen our IT Department. You'll work alongside a highly skilled group of Linux/Web System Administrators, collaborating closely with in-house and external development teams.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, operate, maintain, and lifecycle applications and infrastructure to drive business growth.
  • Work with external providers to manage resources used by various teams.
  • Orchestrate Linux and container-centric capacity and applications.
  • Support the ongoing operations of existing projects.
  • Design and deploy new projects and infrastructure.
  • Ensure availability, security, and performance of business-critical applications.
  • Optimize costs and provide 'best fit' solutions for highly dynamic workloads.

Your Profile:

  • Familiarity with DevOps and SRE approaches.
  • Strong opinions, quick problem-solving abilities, and a results-oriented attitude.
  • Experience running production workloads on major public cloud providers.
  • Solving problems rather than treating symptoms.
  • Extensive experience with scripting languages.
  • Managing Infrastructure as Code.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively to accelerate project timelines.
  • Linux, Containers, and container orchestration platforms expertise.
  • Version control software (Git) experience.
  • Detailed knowledge of Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, and routing.
  • Continuous integration, continuous delivery, and versioned release software (Gitlab/Jenkins) experience.
  • Commitment to constant improvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Infrastructure testing expertise: quickly understanding root causes and preventing reoccurrences.
  • Application middleware and highly distributed applications experience.
  • In-depth understanding of Linux systems and kernel optimization.
  • Database platforms covering Relational, Columnar, Timeseries, Document, and more experience.
  • Caching strategies and implementation expertise.
  • Vendor-independent multi-cloud workload management and disaster recovery understanding.
  • Various application monitoring and performance analysis tools experience.
  • MVC web application architecture and 12-factor app approach familiarity.
