We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at Best Western Plus Stoneridge Inn & Conference Centre. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and safe food preparation.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Organize buffets and banquets to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Manage kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient food preparation and service.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Food Safety Certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent employment with 35 to 40 hours per week.
- English language proficiency.
