Job Title: Sous Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Wildco Partners 3 Inc. as a key member of our culinary operations.

Job Summary:

The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the planning, preparation, and presentation of meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role requires a strong understanding of culinary techniques, menu planning, and kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production and presentation.
  • Estimate food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Analyze kitchen data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of ingredients.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in menu development, recipe testing, and kitchen equipment maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and execute special events, such as banquets and catering services.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, menu planning, and kitchen operations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred.
