About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Director to oversee our logistics and supply chain operations across multiple warehouse locations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned leader who can drive operational excellence, foster team development, and ensure top-tier performance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead a team of 30+ members across over 300,000 square feet of warehouse space, ensuring seamless operations and achieving business objectives.
  2. Promote a culture of safety in all warehouse locations, implementing measures and procedures that prioritize a safe work environment.
  3. Optimize workflow within warehouse operations, balancing efficiency with cost control, and collaborating closely with planning and transport teams.
  4. Establish and guide a transportation unit aimed at minimizing logistics expenses through strategic scheduling, load management, and carrier selection.
  5. Partner with the inventory management team to ensure accurate and timely cycle counts, spot checks, and full inventory assessments.
  6. Lead initiatives to streamline pick, pack, put-away, and shipping operations, continuously refining operational procedures.
  7. Identify opportunities for cost reduction through system enhancements, inventory optimization, and space utilization.
  8. Partner with staffing agencies to manage peak demand periods effectively, setting clear expectations and performance targets for the team.
  9. Coach, mentor, and manage warehouse staff, focusing on performance management and continuous development.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing warehouse operations, including:

  1. Experience in developing high-performance teams, a process-oriented mindset, and a commitment to strong leadership.
  2. Proficiency in Excel and Warehouse Management Systems, with additional experience in SAP and RF Pathways being an asset.
  3. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, solution-driven approach.
  4. Excellent planning and organizational abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines and maintaining high attention to detail.
  5. Proven expertise in team leadership, coaching, and training.
  6. Minimum of 5 years of experience in people management or leadership roles is required.
  7. Educational background in supply chain, operations management, or industrial engineering, or equivalent professional experience managing warehouse operations across multiple sites.
  8. Demonstrated capacity to lead projects, drive change, and maintain a strategic, detail-oriented approach.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as benefits and opportunities for career growth and development.
