Job Summary

Coast Mental Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our team in Riverview. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care to individuals with mental illness, trauma, and addiction. Your expertise will be essential in creating a safe and supportive environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric assessment, pharmacotherapy, and crisis intervention to clients in a supported housing setting.
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance client outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved school of Nursing with current practicing membership with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • At least three years of recent related experience in mental health and addiction, either in a hospital or community setting.
  • Valid First Aid Certificate and Class 5 B.C. Driver's License.
