About the Role

Metrolinx is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fraud and Forensics Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Internal Audit department, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of fraud investigations, including conducting independent and objective investigations, managing priorities, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the execution of fraud investigative reviews and coordinate priorities throughout the organization.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive fraud risk management strategies and procedures.
  • Provide advice and support to senior management on fraud-related matters.
  • Lead the annual review and adjustment of the Metrolinx Fraud Policy and associated Fraud Policy Awareness training process.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify and assess fraud risks and recommend viable solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Progressive experience in audit and fraud management, with a strong background in financial crimes and risk management.
  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation is required within 6 months of hire.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and external stakeholders.
