Fraud and Forensics Manager

Metrolinx is seeking a highly skilled Fraud and Forensics Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Finance Office, you will be responsible for managing all daily activities involved in conducting independent, objective, and constructive investigations into allegations of fraud, corruption, or dishonesty.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the execution of fraud investigative reviews and coordinate priorities throughout the organization with other audit managers and teams.
- Develop and implement comprehensive fraud investigative reports detailing allegations investigated, method of investigation, findings, and recommendations to management.
- Provide strategic leadership and management oversight to ensure the development and execution of a comprehensive fraud awareness communications strategy within Metrolinx.
- Conduct research to identify, assess, and recommend viable solutions to specific financial crime and risk exposures.
- Develop and ensure implementation of fraud risk management practices and procedures for recording, investigating, and monitoring fraud risks.
- Responsible for the identification of key performance indicators for fraud risk management and perform regular data analytics with associated tracking and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field, such as Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Progressive experience developing and leading audit and fraud management programs.
- Experience with preparing analyses, summaries, memos, and reports using computer applications, including MS Office and audit-related software applications.
- Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation required within 6 months of obtaining the position.
- Excellent problem-solving and influencing skills to establish effective working relationships, negotiate, and deal with a variety of contacts both internal and external to the organization.
