Position: Analyst/Underwriter, Professional Solutions – Vancouver

We are actively seeking a qualified candidate to become part of our innovative and proactive team of Professional Solutions, Specialty Insurance underwriters based in Vancouver.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for results and the ability to cultivate and strengthen relationships with both new and existing broker clients. The successful individual will be tasked with marketing and underwriting our range of Professional Solutions products, which include Professional Liability (Miscellaneous Errors and Omissions (E&O)), Technology Liability, Cyber Liability, Media Liability, and Business office package policies.

Responsibilities:
  • Acting as a representative for our Specialty Insurance Solutions team in Vancouver
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Managing and developing a portfolio of Specialty Insurance accounts, particularly in E&O
  • Ensuring profitable growth and retention of the business portfolio through a thorough understanding of Trisura's appetite and diligent risk assessment and underwriting
  • Building and maintaining relationships with brokers
  • Assessing exposures and determining suitable terms and conditions of coverage
  • Gaining knowledge of new product lines and coverages as they are introduced
  • Keeping abreast of relevant industry trends and their implications for our offerings
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree or post-secondary education in business, marketing, sales, or insurance is preferred
