Position Overview

The role of the E&O Underwriter at i3 Underwriting encompasses a variety of responsibilities aimed at managing and enhancing our current portfolio of Errors and Omissions insurance.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties associated with this position include:

  1. Maintaining and servicing an existing Errors and Omissions insurance portfolio.
  2. Assessing and evaluating incoming submissions for underwriting consideration.
  3. Handling endorsements and responding to broker inquiries.
  4. Generating and presenting quotations for potential clients.
Qualifications and Skills

Successful candidates will demonstrate a proactive and enthusiastic approach, alongside the following qualifications:

  1. Possession of a Level 2 General Insurance License or its equivalent.
  2. A minimum of 3-4 years of experience within a commercial insurance setting, ideally in professional lines.
  3. Strong technical capabilities, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  4. Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
  5. Capacity to manage tight deadlines and a high volume of work typical of a dynamic department.
  6. Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  7. Adeptness in prioritizing multiple incoming requests to meet deadlines.
  8. General administrative tasks as necessary.
