About the Role

Cascades is seeking a highly skilled Sales Controller to join our team in the Containerboard Packaging Division. As a Sales Controller, you will play a key role in driving business growth and profitability by providing analysis and recommendations to internal partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Strategy and Analysis: Participate in customer strategy by providing in-depth analysis and recommendations to internal partners on pricing, benchmarking, production costs, and other key business metrics.
  • Business Process Support: Support business partners in applying and monitoring business processes to ensure seamless execution and optimal results.
  • Margin Improvement Analysis: Analyze and support the sales team in various initiatives to improve margin performance.
  • Process Optimization: Optimize tools, processes, and data to drive business efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Customer Insights: Understand and interpret partners' and customers' needs to provide tailored responses and solutions.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze and explain monthly and quarterly sales results, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Performance Indicators: Rigorously analyze performance indicators and sector profitability to inform business decisions.

Requirements

  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of the business world and a keen sense of curiosity.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and knowledge of SAP or other ERP software, and PowerBI.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in French and English to communicate effectively with our units and partners in Quebec, the English-speaking provinces, and the United States.
  • Soft Skills: Rigor and agility, strong sense of organization and priorities, integrity and discernment for sound decision-making.
