Cascades is seeking a highly skilled Sales Controller to join our team in the Containerboard Packaging Division. As a Sales Controller, you will play a key role in driving business growth and profitability by providing analysis and recommendations to internal partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Strategy and Analysis: Participate in customer strategy by providing in-depth analysis and recommendations to internal partners on pricing, benchmarking, production costs, and other key business metrics.
- Business Process Support: Support business partners in applying and monitoring business processes to ensure seamless execution and optimal results.
- Margin Improvement Analysis: Analyze and support the sales team in various initiatives to improve margin performance.
- Process Optimization: Optimize tools, processes, and data to drive business efficiency and effectiveness.
- Customer Insights: Understand and interpret partners' and customers' needs to provide tailored responses and solutions.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze and explain monthly and quarterly sales results, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Performance Indicators: Rigorously analyze performance indicators and sector profitability to inform business decisions.
Requirements
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of the business world and a keen sense of curiosity to stay up-to-date on industry trends.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and knowledge of SAP or other ERP software, and PowerBI (an asset).
- Language Skills: Fluency in French and English to communicate effectively with our units and partners in Quebec, the English-speaking provinces, and the United States.
- Soft Skills: Rigor and agility, strong sense of organization and priorities, integrity and discernment for sound decision-making, and a good understanding of the business world.
