About the Role

The Sleep Country Senior IT Security Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our IT systems and data. This is a critical role that requires a high level of expertise and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Security Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain secure IT infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
  • Security Solutions Evaluation: Conduct thorough evaluations of security solutions to enhance core security capabilities in areas such as security infrastructure, access management, identity management, networking, databases, and servers.
  • Incident Response and Management: Develop and implement incident response plans, including documenting procedures and conducting training exercises. Manage and respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner.
  • Security Awareness and Training: Develop and maintain a security awareness program to educate employees on security best practices and procedures.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all IT systems and data are compliant with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Identify and mitigate security risks to prevent breaches and data loss.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, business, and security teams, to ensure that security requirements are met and that security risks are identified and mitigated.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in IT security or a related field.
  • Proven leadership abilities, including effective knowledge sharing, conflict resolution, and facilitation of open discussions.
  • Strong technical knowledge of current systems, software, protocols, and standards, including TCP/IP and network administration/protocols.
  • Experience with security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and SIEM tools.
  • Security certifications, such as CISSP, CISA, CEH, GIAC, or SANS.
