About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Security Analyst to join our team at Sleep Country Canada/Dormez-vous. As a key member of our Information Security team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate security threats
  • Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement incident response plans and procedures
  • Provide expert guidance on security best practices and industry standards
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and trends, and develop strategies to mitigate risks
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in IT Security or equivalent combination of transferrable experience and education
  • Proven leadership abilities and effective communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of security principles and frameworks, including ISO 27001 and NIST
  • Experience with securing on-prem and cloud infrastructure, including Google Cloud and Azure
  • Strong technical knowledge of current systems, software, protocols, and standards
