About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Hardware Designer to join our team at Eclipse Automation. As a key member of our Controls Engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing common electrical designs for our customers and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical designs for customers and projects based on standard Eclipse methods
- Provide electrical assistance during integration stages
- Select, test, and integrate hardware and software components
- Perform engineering calculations and work with other teams to improve design methods
- Work with customers, project managers, and other teams to solve problems and provide accurate documentation
- Advise customers on technical problems and provide solutions
Requirements:
- Post-secondary engineering degree or equivalent in electrical engineering
- Experience with EPLAN and automation software
- 5+ years of automation experience and knowledge of electrical machinery standards
- Ability to communicate effectively and work in a fast-paced environment
