Eclipse Automation is seeking a skilled Controls Hardware Specialist to contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge custom automated manufacturing solutions. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Controls Engineering department to create innovative and efficient manufacturing systems.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop common electrical designs as per customer and project requirements
• Provide electrical assistance during the various stages of integration
• Select, test, and integrate hardware and software components
• Perform engineering calculations
• Work with other members of the Controls Engineering department to continuously improve methods of design
• Collaborate with customers, project managers, designers, toolmakers, and electricians to solve problems and provide a complete, functional automation system
• Provide accurate documentation for each project
Requirements:
• A post-secondary engineering degree, diploma, or equivalent specializing in electrical engineering
• Experience with EPLAN
• 5+ years of automation experience
• Knowledge of various electrical machinery standards and safety standards
• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
