About The Shoreline Power Group

The Shoreline Power Group is a joint venture between Aecon, United, and Atkins Realis located in Kincardine, Ontario. This group is part of the Major Component Replacement (MCR) program at Bruce Power Nuclear Generating Station. The scope includes removing and replacing calandria tubes, pressure tubes, and feeders, as well as construction management and trade labor.

Job Description: General Foreperson

You will supervise, coordinate, and schedule construction activities on the project. This includes multiple scopes of work in compliance with the contract and job cost estimate. You must ensure all work is completed safely to acceptable standards of quality and workmanship.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring all work is conducted safely in compliance with Joint Ventures Health & Safety and Environmental policies.
  • Assist in developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules with the Superintendent.
  • Utilize project master schedules to create detailed look-ahead schedules for foremen and subcontractors, work planning up to two weeks in advance.
  • Plan and supervise the work of own forces and subcontractors on the project, including determining methods of construction, manpower levels, materials, tools & equipment, rentals, and work schedules.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • Minimum of 2 years construction experience and subcontractor supervision.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of construction, such as technology, equipment, methods, trade agreements, and jurisdiction, engineering, cost control, scheduling, and safety requirements.
  • Must understand how to support a positive Nuclear Safety Culture.
  • Experience in managing major refurbishment or complex nuclear projects.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Salary Range:$110,000 - $140,000 per year
