Job Title: Registered Practical Nurse
Location: Goderich, Ontario
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Maitland Manor. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional resident care while following established protocols and physician orders.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality resident care, adhering to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and conditions of residents, and take appropriate action when necessary.
- Organize and direct functions related to resident care, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Assist in the management of nursing and personal care staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Train and develop new staff members, referring concerns to the Director of Care as needed.
Qualifications:
- Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Bilingual in English and French is an asset.
- A passion for caring for seniors and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.
- Registration/eligibility for registration with the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario.
- Previous experience in long-term care is an asset, with comprehensive knowledge of duties.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and comprehension skills.
- Developed problem-solving skills to address complex situations.
