Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing nursing care to residents, assessing their needs, and developing individualized care plans. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary health team to ensure seamless care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, treatments, and performing medical procedures.
- Assess residents' needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor and evaluate residents' conditions, reporting any changes or concerns to the Director of Care.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, ensuring they provide high-quality care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement discharge plans.
- Provide education and support to residents and their families on health-related issues.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent.
- Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses or ability to obtain.
- 3+ years of experience in nursing, preferably in long-term care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
