Key Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care consistent with the College of Nurses of Ontario standards, physician's orders, and the Home's policies.
- Assess residents' conditions, recognize and interpret signs and symptoms, and initiate remedial health measures as needed.
- Collaborate with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team to develop and maintain current resident care plans.
- Maintain accurate and complete clinical records, ensuring confidentiality and adhering to established documentation policies.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring efficient use of supplies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contribute to the development of policies and procedures, and engage in ongoing education and professional development.
- Nursing certificate and registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Assessment and leadership skills, with experience in geriatric care an asset.
