About the Role

The Equity Compensation Plan Administrator is responsible for administering all of Magna's equity-based compensation plans for the Board of Directors, senior leaders, and other employees. This role involves maintenance and reporting of outstanding share capital, as well as insider reporting.

Your Responsibilities

  • Execute the transition from Excel-based equity compensation processes to a third-party platform.
  • Day-to-day administration of Executive stock option and Performance Stock Unit (PSU), grants, exercises/redemptions, and cancellations.
  • Handling of non-Executive employees' Restricted Stock Unit (RSU), grants, redemptions, and cancellations.
  • Coordination with applicable Payroll, Tax, HR, Legal, and other personnel in connection with the above.
  • General compensation forecasting and analysis.

Requirements

  • University degree in a relevant field.
  • 3+ years of work-related experience.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Highly organized and efficient in managing workload.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with stock-based compensation terms and concepts.
  • Experience in compensation forecasting and administration.
  • Proficiency with Excel and third-party tech platforms such as Global Shares/ShareWorks.
